Rather than explain things through posts over and over again, I’ve made this page for easy access and quick explanations on any reoccurring features at typeZERO. Enjoy!

Old School Showdown (OSS)

The OSS is a feature where I pick 3 random animes from my immense backlog of stuff I have to watch and toss them together in competition with each other. The fights aren’t fair, low blows are thrown, and the playing field may not start off equally…but that’s half the fun. I generally start by comparing each of the first episodes and then continue to rate them in batches of 3-4 episodes at a time.

OP/ED Champs

Each month, I pick my top 3 favorite OP/EDs from anime that I’m currently watching. They don’t have to be from this season or anything, just as long as I’m watching them. Note that there are many good OP/EDs, but unless I’m watching the show I don’t bother considering them as candidates unless they’re just crazy good. After I pick them, I rank them and give my reasons why. It’s pretty simple.
